Is the exhibit hall going to be a bit more family friendly this year? I ask because I don't consider nubile models in underwear family-friendly, and that's what 2007 had. |

As far as I know, pretty much everyone in the exhibit hall was wearing underwear.
Do you mean the women in the costumes? I did not find that to be family un-friendly, and I had my daughter with me. |

In concert with the efforts to develop the Origins Game Fair, we are going to be stressing the "Family Friendly" part of the show more. We are not expecting any scantily clad models this year. Matthew Ragsdale |

As a former member of the sex starved gamer association this move is quite distressing. A huge draw for us was the scantily clad models.
Fortunately I've been recently assimilated into the whipped, "yes dear" club so it isn't a huge loss. But I feel for my former association members. |

Bill, you've joined the "yes dear" club, not the "I'm dead" club. I'm just sad that I didn't see these scantily clad models last year. Now, at Gencon a few years back, they had the "Benchwarmers." That was quite a draw, I must say. |

Wow it would be terrible for jr. to see a nubile models in underwear. Imagine the life-time of trauma that would inflict! It always amazes me how prudish people complain if jr. sees a beautiful women, or (gasp) nuidty. These same people do not mind that jr. is shooting and decapitating people on his computer game. The reason the beautiful women are there is because most people enjoy seeing them. They should not be banned because of a minority of narrow minded mundanes. Models in underwear are very family friendly, bring on the booth babes! |

Well, I mind about the decapitations too. Does that indemnify me against accuations of hypocricy?
Anyway, I'm glad to hear the organizers see the issue |

I'm feeling bad about my Origins 2007 experience. Not only did I miss the babes in underwear, but apparently I missed decapitations as well! |

I trust the organizers to realize that letting a minority who do not represent the gaming community dictate how the convention is run will ultimately ruin the convention. Next women will not be allowed to wear shorts and there will be no dancing. Because you know that is the devils work! Let's bring Cthulhu to the bible belt!
