Re: Weird Forum Behavior

Hi,

1. Creating a new topic - Around Columbus, Volunteering, Web Site, Other Conventions, and Way Way Out There are the only forums with a "New Topic" button.  (For example, I wanted to add a topic to "Pot Luck" but there's no way to do so.)

I'm not sure why you don't see the "New Topic" buttons on those forums. They are all there. Maybe a clear cache refresh.

2. Time stamping - Events and Programs don't have time stamps on the threads.

This should be corrected.

3. New Post indicators - Around Columbus, Pot Luck, and Exhibition Hall show as having "new posts" yet there are no posts at all in the discussion areas.

This seems to be because there are no messages in these forums and is the default setting.

4. More New Post stuff - It's not really "new posts" but rather "unread posts."  New post implies that something is new since the last time that I logged on.  That's not how the forum is working.

You are correct and the labels for these have been corrected.
