Whether it’s Helen of Troy or Queen Elizabeth, Wonder Woman or Lois Lane, or Joan of Arc or Rosa Parks, stories and events featuring women are intriguing and powerful. This track looks to call out and celebrate female heroes, villains, and game players of all shapes, sizes, and professions; with games, tournaments, special events, Guests, screenings, seminars and discussion groups.

Woman aren’t a hive mind, but our seminar panelists will attempt to discuss the things that turn women away from gaming, the kinds of things that might attract more women to the hobby, and attempts at inclusion that have and haven’t worked.

Sexism at the Table
What do you do when a fellow gamer talks down to you, steps on your role-play, or dismisses your opinion – all because you’re a female gamer? How do you stand up for yourself when the table-talk crosses the line, without looking like you’re asking for special treatment or killing the game? This session discusses the horror stories and coping mechanisms that are sometimes needed in order to enjoy the hobbies we adore.

For the Masses is a complete fantasy mass-combat wargame system, designed for use with 15mm miniatures, although any line of miniatures from 6mm up can be used for play.
