Pinochle, Cribbage, Hearts, and Euchre. They will also be running
tournaments for Euchre, Cribbage and Backgammon.

Tournament
Come test your skill, knowledge and luck in the Cadillac of Poker, No
Limit Texas Hold ‘Em, at this one night only Origins Premier Event!
This event designed for amateur players and all players start with
$1000 in chips. Single elimination $8 entry with $4 rebuys allowed
during the first 2 hours only if you are under your starting amount.
Winner receives Trophy and prizes. No Cash Payouts. Age restrictions
enforced 18 and over permitted to play. Sanctioned by the Convention
Gamers Amateur Poker Tour.
Annual Origins Dealer’s Choice Tournament
Players select from 5 card Stud, 7 Card stud, Draw or Hold ‘Em. This
event is for amateurs only and players will start with $500 in chips.
The winners of each table advance to the Semi Final round on Sun 8am
with finals on Sunday at Noon. Entry is $6 with $4 rebuys allowed.
Winner receives Trophy and prizes. No Cash Payouts. Age restrictions
enforced 18 and over permitted to play. Sanctioned by the Convention

Open format. Player calls any of the choices from the Dealers Choice
Tournament. This event is designed for amateur players and all players

Battleship
You sank my Battleship! Yes
it’s a little corny and you’ve heard it a million times but that
doesn’t make this classic game any less enjoyable. There’s even a
tournament to see who can be First Sea Lord.
Clue!
It was
Professor Plum, in the Conservatory, with the Rope! No wait, Ms.
Scarlett, in the Library, with the Lead Pipe. Prove me wrong or declare
me the winner. The game that launched at least a couple of police
careers.
Scattergories Tournament
This is a great word game
of quick thinking and originality. The game of categories where all
your answer have to begin with the same letter. You have only 1 Minute
to match words to 10 categories. Are you up to it?
Scrabble Tournament!
One
of the greatest if not the greatest word game around. A classic design
that has stood the test of time for over 50 years. Challenge your
friends to a true test of brain power. By the way, S-c-r-a-b-b-l-e is
worth 14 pts.
Taboo Team Tournament!
Players give word clues
to their teammates, trying to avoid the forbidden Taboo words! Get your
friends together and try some different forms of communication.
Diplomacy
Negotiation,
intrigue, warfare, a battle of wills and subterfuge. 7 players,
simultaneous movement, alliances and betrayals. No artificial
game-ending time limits. Play Diplomacy the way it was designed and
intended to be played. Various awards. The Midwest Diplomacy
Championship Tournament. The closest you’ll ever hopefully come to
strangling your friends! No crying allowed!
Risk
So you are
the champion at home. Now play the other champions from other homes and
see just how good you are. Admit we all played and dreamed of world
dominance. Besides where else are you going to learn where Kamchatka
and Irkutsk are?
