The "WHAT IF" of History's wars prolonged into periods of new technology and new belligerents? Could it have happened? How? And to what outcome?

• World War II "1946"

  What realistically, if anything, could have prolonged VE or VJ day into 1946. What could have stopped the Soviet march on Berlin? Could "Patton's Dream" (USA and Allies against the Soviets) have succeeded? (for whom?) Could German or Japanese Nukes stop the Allies? Could German or Japanese Jets challenge the Allies' Mustangs, Thunderbolts, and Typhoons? Could Arabs, Asians, Africans or South Americans have revolted, attacked or weakened the Allies?

• Great War "1919 and Beyond"

  What could have realistically prolonged WWI into 1919?

  Could Germany win WWI with Tanks and monoplanes? Could the land war become more fluid with the implementation of new weapons and tactics? Could the German High Seas Fleet break the British blockade at all costs? Could the Germans get the Mexicans and others to agree to the Zimmerman Telegram?

• American Civil War "1866"

  What could have realistically prolonged the ACW into 1866. What if the European Navies and Armies entered the Civil War? What impact would widespread use of Gatling Guns and Repeating weapons have? Could the USA have invaded Mexico to fight Maximillian and the French? Could the Confederates have moved West to hold out?

• Napoleon "Beyond 1815"

  What if Napoleon had successfully defeated the British and the Prussians at Waterloo? What next? Could Napoleonic France have survived until Steam and Rail changed the face of warfare? Would the U.S. join the French to oppose Britain and Spanish Mexico in 1815? Could Russian contest American over the US Northwest?

  Could a "New Mohammed" have risen to unite the Muslims to Re-conquer all of Europe?

  Could William the Conqueror have fought a prolonged invasion vs. the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings?

• Mongols European Tour 1243 A.D.

  Could the European kingdoms unite to resist the Mongol Hordes after Leignitz and Hungary?

• Thirty Years War Goes Global 1618 - 1648

  Could the 30YW become the First REAL World War? Could Spain and France have moved against the English and Dutch in North America?

• English Civil War "Intervention" 1642-1651

  Could the Irish, Scots, and French exploit the British and the New Model Army?

• Seven Years War "1756-63 and Beyond"

  Could the SYW [the First REAL World War] have escalated further in Europe? Or spread into widespread revolts in Asia, Africa, and the Americas? Originally fought in Europe, North America, and India between France, Austria, Russia, Saxony, Sweden, and (after 1762) Spain on the one side and Prussia, Great Britain, and Hanover on the other. Who else could have joined the fray? And where?

• The American Revolution Spreads 1782

  Could the Continentals and French Allies march north against Canada and remove the British from North America? Could Spain have played a greater role supporting the Americans? Could "the Revolution" have spread to liberate all of the Americas (sooner) from Britain, Spain and France?

• "Colonial Jihad 1860-1890"

  Could the Mahdi have united all of the Mid East and African Muslims during the Colonial era?

  What if one of the major powers elects to aid the colonial rebels? Could Britain have held South Africa with the Boers and the Germans fighting them?

• Spanish American War "1899 and Beyond"

  Could Germany have supported Spain, and even (as Historically Planned) invaded the USA? Would the Navies and Armies of Europe have joined in? On which side?

• Arab-Israeli 1956 or 1967 or 1973

  Could the Israelis go for total victory? Could they succeed in an all-out military invasion, and not only to win on the battlefield but to totally conquer their opponents?

• Viet Nam "1975 and Beyond"

  Could the USA have used new Technology to keep Vietnam from falling? Could China have attacked and made a move to take over Asia while the United States is totally engrossed in Indochina? Would Russian intervene? Or would they strike a deal with China?

• Cold War '92

  Soviet Survival: Could the Soviet Union, desperate to survive, lash out with their military? Would the United States and their NATO allies be slow to react?

• Iraq 2006

  Could the USA and Allies... Well, Never-mind.
