James Daniel Ross resides in Liberty Township, Ohio with his lovely wife and three cats. He often feels like he has never known sleep for the incessant meowing pitter-patter and hissing that makes up his everyday world. This induced sanity may be the reason he has been driven into the arms of authordom. He has written science fiction (The Radiation Angels), high fantasy (The Saga of Those Before), and grim fantasy (The Legend of Foxcrow and The Last Dragoon).
