Keith R.A. DeCandido has written 60+ novels, 135+ short stories, 75+ comic books, and more nonfiction than he can count. He has written for more than 35 licensed universes, from Alien to Zorro, including TV shows (Star Trek, Supernatural), games (World of Warcraft, Resident Evil), movies (Cars, Serenity), comics (Spider-Man, Thor), and literary characters (Sherlock Holmes, Joe Ledger). He also has written a great deal of work in worlds of his own creation, from fantastical police procedurals to urban fantasy to superhero tales. Recent and upcoming work includes the new novel series Supernatural Crimes Unit: NYPD and The Inflictors; Phoenix Precinct and Feat of Clay, the latest books in his long-running original fantasy series; the Key West-based urban fantasy short story collection Ragnarok and a Hard Place; stories in several issues of the magazines Weird Tales and Star Trek Explorer and in the anthologies Creepshow: 13 Tales of Terror, The Green Hornet & Kato: Detroit Noir City, A Curiosity of Cats, Wicked Westerns, and Sherlock Holmes: Eliminate the Impossible; the graphic novel Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness: The Beginning; and tons more. He has been writing pop-culture commentary of various sorts since 1989, most extensively for the award-winning web site Reactor Magazine. His body of work has received accolades in the form of the Faust, the lifetime achievement award given by the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers, in 2009, and the prestigious Skylark, given by the New England Science Fiction Association, in 2026. Keith is also a musician, a martial artist, an editor, and possibly some other stuff he can't remember due to the lack of sleep.
