Classes

Fluorescent Paint. How do they even work? Fluroescent paints are an amazing tool to get a bright, vibrant blast of color on our miniatures. However, they can be tricky to use! We will cover some of the pitfalls, benefits and properties of fluoro paints as we paint up a 54mm scale miniature in full vibrancy. We will discuss undercoating, mixing paints, blending techniques and more. Basic painting skills are encouraged. Tickets

Painting Retro: Synthwave Style Do you enjoy the soothing sounds of synthesizers singing their supernatural song? Yeah, me too! With music, comes visual art. Synthwave has a distinct sound and a distinct visual style rooted in the 1980's and kept alive through the decades. We will cover how to paint a miniature in a Synthwave inspired paint scheme! Painting in Reverse: Saturated Shadows By adding a little extra color to a mini in the unlikeliest of places, you can take your mini to new heights. We will discuss how to use light, color, and blending to achieve a bold look. A miniature bust and paints will be provided to follow along with. Tickets

Let’s Paint! A Mimic…Outhouse?! We will have a fun session painting one of the grossest of gribblies, an Outhouse Mimic! We will cover painting realistic wood, highlighting purple flesh, and even painting bird poo. All skill levels are welcome. Tickets

I Messed Up My Painting…How do I fix it? Have you ever had an errant brush stroke? A wash that ran out of bounds? Maybe an overzealous dry brushing session? In this class we will paint a basic figurine and along the way.... make mistakes! And then learn how to fix them. Tickets
